Our revolutionary design, free of hollow cavities or tubing, enhances the ability of guards to observe and prevent attempts to smuggle contraband, unapproved messages or weapons into secure areas. The design uses anti-tamper fasteners, and resists malicious disassembly by inmates.

The Merlexi Craft Inmate Wheelchair is a durable, folding, plastic wheelchair featuring a solid, contoured, folding seat and armrests that can be either removable/adjustable or securely fastened. The flexible solid fabric back offers optimum support without jeopardizing safety and security, and can be removed and replaced easily. The design and materials enable Merlexi Craft chairs to be used in the shower and to tolerate wet or snowy conditions. Additionally, our chairs are easy to clean and sanitize.
